I was thinking that a good listserver command would be one where you could list all addresses at novell.com or wisc.edu (for instance). Then after you find the culprit delete him or the whole domain. Right now "list name@domain" seems to be the closest applicable command. -- Steve, N5OWK Electricity Engineering Student n5owk@k2gkk.ok Jim-Bobs Vo-Tech and GED emporium ssampson@n5owk.ampr.org Federal Prisoner 160-88564 ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 May 94 23:20 EDT From: "James C Mankin 1 814 863 4348" Subject: NNTP Client Problem To: tcp-group@ucsd.edu A couple of us are having problems with the NNTP client in JNOS1.10c (and maybe other versions also). This is the one that comes from defining NNTPS (client and server) in config.h. The problem occures whenever the oldest unread article in a newsgroup gets expired before it is read. This causes the news.rc file for that group to "point" to an article that isnt there, which causes all the articles in that group to become inaccessable. Does anyone have a solution to this (other than manually updating all the news.rc files)? 73's Jim KB3KJ n5x@psuvm.psu.edu kb3kj@psu.edu jim@kb3kj.ampr.org ------------------------------ End of TCP-Group Digest V94 #98 ******************************
